Low-Cost Therapist
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) currently completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Cape Breton University and have experience as a volunteer crisis responder with specialized training in suicide prevention.
As a first-generation immigrant from Trinidad and Tobago, I understand the challenges of navigating life transitions, adapting to new environments, and finding a sense of belonging. These lived experiences inform the empathy and cultural sensitivity I bring to my work with clients.
I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who struggle with social anxiety, insecurity, overthinking, and people-pleasing patterns. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, focusing on helping you build confidence, establish boundaries, and feel more grounded in who you are.
Grounded in my Christian faith, I aim to offer a space where you feel seen, heard, and respected. My goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your challenges at your own pace and feel empowered in your personal growth and healing journey.
