Low-Cost Therapist
I am a student therapist and a member of both the CCPA and OAMHP. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Human Sciences, a Diploma in Psychology, and I’m completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology.
Before becoming a therapist, I worked in people operations and administration, where connection and care were central to everything I did. I also supported youth as a Mentor Facilitator, helping them build self-esteem, mindfulness, and emotional awareness.
My approach to therapy is empathetic, authentic, and collaborative. I’m passionate about helping people navigate life’s challenges, reconnect with their values, and rediscover what brings them joy and fulfillment. I aim to create a safe, inclusive space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered.
As a Black Caribbean and Afro-Latina woman of Jamaican and Dominican heritage, I bring a culturally sensitive lens to my work, understanding how identity, culture, faith, and community shape our healing. Guided by my Christian faith, I believe healing can take many forms, such as prayer, mindfulness, or self-discovery, and I encourage clients to explore what feels true to them.
Wherever you are on your journey, I’ll meet you there with warmth and compassion.
