Low-Cost Therapist
I am completing my Master of Education in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto, hold a Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience and Mental Health from Carleton University, and a post-graduate certification in Asset-Based Community Development from St. Francis Xavier University.
I support clients who have often felt misunderstood, are trying to better understand themselves, or are navigating people-pleasing, perfectionism, and the pressure to keep it all together. I am especially interested in working with neurodivergent clients, including those experiencing anxiety, ADHD, autism, and related experiences. I bring both personal and professional understanding to this work, and I recognize how complex it can feel to move through the world in these ways while also carrying our cultural identities.
For many people, this can mean feeling pressure to mask, manage expectations, or decide which parts of themselves can be seen at any given time. In therapy, I aim to create a space where every part of who you are is welcomed with care, curiosity, and unconditional acceptance.
My approach is neurodiversity-affirming, culturally grounded, and anti-oppressive, and I integrate evidence-based practices in a way that is tailored to your unique needs and goals. I have completed training in psychodynamic, CBT, somatic, emotion-focused, and multicultural therapies, and I am especially guided by Internal Family Systems Therapy, a compassionate approach that helps us understand the different parts of ourselves with greater curiosity and less judgment.
If you experience unique ways of communicating, processing, moving, or regulating, you are welcome here. When you’re ready, I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.
