Frequently asked questions.
Starting therapy can feel daunting and you probably have questions. Below are the most common ones. If you do not see yours here, send us a message.
Virtual therapy is psychotherapy delivered through secure video conferencing. You meet your therapist from anywhere using a computer, tablet, or phone with a camera and internet connection. Our platform is PHIPA-compliant, meaning your sessions are encrypted and confidential. Research consistently shows virtual therapy is as effective as in-person for most mental health concerns.
Individual therapy ranges from $80 to $250 per 50-minute session depending on your therapist. Couples therapy is $240 and EMDR is $200 per session. A 30-minute paid consultation with an associate is $45. Low-Cost Therapy is $80 per session with the first session free.
We do not bill insurance directly. We provide receipts you can submit to your extended health insurance plan. Most employer-sponsored plans cover Registered Psychotherapists.
Psychotherapy by a Registered Psychotherapist in private practice is not covered under OHIP, ODSP, or OW. Most extended health insurance plans through employers do cover RP services.
