Online therapy across British Columbia.

For BC clients, we work primarily in individual therapy, sports psychology, trauma, EMDR, and couples work. Clinical supervision applies to BC therapists curious about cross-jurisdictional supervision; we confirm regulatory fit before that conversation moves forward.

Our CRPO-registered therapists can serve clients in British Columbia subject to applicable interprovincial practice frameworks. We confirm regulatory fit during intake.

01

Why virtual therapy works in British Columbia.

  • Pacific Time scheduling is built in. We have therapists with openings that accommodate the Pacific time zone. Booking from Vancouver or Victoria does not mean compromising on time slots.
  • A clinical option that is not the local network. BC has a tight clinical community in Vancouver, Victoria, and the Lower Mainland. Many of our BC clients chose us specifically because they wanted distance from any clinician their employer, partner, or social circle might know.
  • Built for tech and outdoor industry burnout. A meaningful slice of our BC caseload is in tech, gaming, film and TV production, and the outdoor industry. We know the specific shape of those burnout patterns and how they show up in family and identity work.
  • Newcomer-aware practice. BC continues to see significant immigration, particularly from East Asia and South Asia. Several of our therapists hold their own cross-cultural training and treat the transition itself as material, not as background.

Mental health in BC specifically.

British Columbia has expanded its mental health services significantly over the past decade, but waitlists in Vancouver, Victoria, Surrey, and across the Lower Mainland remain long. Counselling is regulated differently in BC than in Ontario, and the regulatory landscape around interprovincial virtual therapy continues to evolve. We confirm fit at intake so you know exactly how the arrangement works in your case. Many of our BC clients book sessions early in the day Pacific Time, which sits before our therapists begin their Toronto-based afternoons, we have therapists with availability that fits both ends of the country. We also see a pattern in BC of clients navigating burnout in the tech and outdoor industries, and of newcomers to Canada who want a therapist who understands the cultural transition rather than treating it as background.

Where in British Columbia we work.

Vancouver, British Columbia

Vancouver

Tech, film and TV production, finance, and founders. We know the specific shape of Vancouver burnout: the sprint that never ends, and the housing math that keeps ambition and anxiety in the same room.

Victoria, British Columbia

Victoria

Provincial public service, healthcare, education, and retirees rethinking what this chapter is for. Island clients also value working with a therapist who sits far outside the local professional network.

Surrey, British Columbia

Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond & the Tri-Cities

Some of Canada's most diverse communities. Much of our work here sits between generations: honouring parents' sacrifices while building a life they did not plan for you, across careers, marriages, and identities that cross cultures.

Kelowna & the Okanagan

Wine, tourism, and construction economies that run hot in summer and quiet in winter. We work with business owners and hospitality workers whose stress is seasonal, and whose off-season is when the heavier work finally has room.

Vancouver Island & Sunshine Coast

Ferry-dependent communities where reaching a specialist in person can consume a full day. Virtual sessions bring consistent care to people who chose distance and quiet on purpose, without the travel.

We also work with clients in Vancouver, Victoria, Surrey, Burnaby, Richmond, Kelowna, Abbotsford, Coquitlam, Saanich, Kamloops and the surrounding communities.

Pacific Blue Cross is the most common BC employer plan and recognises Registered Psychotherapists from out-of-province under most policies. Sun Life, Canada Life, Manulife, and Green Shield are also widely used in BC and process our receipts. If your plan was negotiated in BC, double-check the benefits booklet under "mental health practitioner" rather than specifically "psychologist", some older BC plans only list psychologists. Feel free to contact your insurance provider for confirmation of coverage.
