Why this program exists.
Therapists working with high-performing clients face a unique set of clinical challenges that traditional supervision often does not address. Success, visibility, achievement, and performance can complicate identity, relationships, self-worth, and help-seeking in ways that are easy to miss without the right lens.
This program is designed to help clinicians deepen their understanding of the people behind the performance. It is not performance coaching. It is clinical supervision grounded in years of experience working with athletes, executives, entertainers, and other high-performing individuals navigating the pressures that come with excellence.
By the end of the cohort, you will:
- Develop a stronger clinical lens for high-performing clients.
- Build confidence in high-stakes therapeutic work.
- Understand the hidden pressures behind success and achievement.
- Strengthen their presence in the room, regardless of a client's status or visibility.
- Learn how to earn trust while remaining authentic as a clinician.
- Navigate the unique clinical and ethical challenges of performance-driven environments.
- Join a community of therapists dedicated to supporting high performers.
This is not about just reviewing cases or checking supervision boxes. It is about helping clinicians become the kind of therapists high performers trust, respect, and return to.
What you will learn.
- How to work with performance anxiety and the pressure to deliver, without becoming a performance coach.
- How to do identity work with clients whose sense of self is fused with their role, and hold them through transition, retirement, injury, and role loss.
- How to hold confidentiality when teams, agents, family, and media complicate the frame, and when a client is a public figure.
- How to work with driven, perfectionistic clients who set a high bar and struggle to lower it.
- How to recognise and address burnout in clients who normalise it and wear it as a badge.
- How to read the systemic context (race, gender, class, culture) inside elite performance worlds.
How it works.
- Small virtual cohort of 6-8 therapists. Small enough for real case consultation, big enough for peer richness.
- Six 2-hour sessions, twice a month. A defined start and end date per intake, not open-ended.
- Every session blends live case consultation, practical frameworks from Jhanelle, and structured peer discussion.
- Bring your live cases. You work through the clients in front of you now, with a room that gets this population.
- Application required. We curate each cohort so the peer group fits the work, whether that is sport, executive, or public-figure focused.
- Investment is $1,200 CAD for the 6-session cohort, paid up front. Reach out for the current cohort start date.
This is for you if...
- You are already supporting athletes, executives, creatives, or public figures and want a stronger clinical framework for the work.
- You are interested in working with high performers and want to better understand the realities behind success, achievement, and visibility.
- You are losing time figuring out frameworks alone that someone else has already worked out.
- You want a peer group of clinicians who get this population without you having to over-explain.
- You want supervision that respects how much you already know and goes deeper, not slower.
