Online therapy across Manitoba.

Manitoba clients work with us most often on individual therapy, trauma, couples work, and EMDR. Sports psychology is a smaller but growing piece, particularly with Winnipeg Jets-adjacent and university athletes.

Our CRPO-registered therapists can serve clients in Manitoba subject to applicable interprovincial practice frameworks. We confirm regulatory fit during intake.

01

Why virtual therapy works in Manitoba.

  • No winter drive to an appointment. Therapy in Manitoba often means travelling for it, whether that is an hour into Winnipeg or most of a day from Thompson. Virtual sessions take the highway out of the equation, which matters most in January.
  • Privacy in communities where everyone knows everyone. In Steinbach, Winkler, or a smaller town, the nearest counsellor can also be a neighbour or a familiar face at the rink. Working with a therapist based out-of-province takes that overlap off the table.
  • Central Time scheduling that works in your favour. Winnipeg runs one hour behind Toronto, so early evening in Manitoba lines up naturally with our therapists' calendars. You are not fighting for the last appointment of the day.

Mental health in Manitoba specifically.

Manitoba life has a particular shape: winters that ask a lot of everyone, an economy built on agriculture, healthcare, manufacturing, and public service, and communities where people tend to carry hard things quietly. We work with clients in Winnipeg, Brandon, Steinbach, Thompson, Portage la Prairie, and smaller communities across the province, including farm families managing generational pressure, healthcare workers, and professionals whose work follows them home. Prairie culture can prize getting on with it, and many Manitobans arrive at therapy having held everything together on their own for a long time. This is where that weight finally gets set down and looked at properly.

Where in Manitoba we work.

Winnipeg, Manitoba

Winnipeg

The province's centre of gravity. Healthcare workers, public servants, entrepreneurs, and creatives carrying big-city workloads in a city that still runs on personal connections, which is exactly why discretion matters here.

Brandon, Manitoba

Brandon

Agriculture, education, and regional healthcare anchor life in western Manitoba. We work with students, educators, and professionals who want real clinical fit without a two-hour drive to Winnipeg to get it.

Steinbach, Manitoba

Steinbach & Southeastern Manitoba

Fast-growing communities where faith, family, and tradition shape daily life. We hold respectful space for questions of identity, belonging, and changing family expectations, without an agenda.

Thompson & Northern Manitoba

Mining, healthcare, education, and community services in a region where the nearest in-person option can be hours away. For much of the north, virtual therapy is the only practical route to consistent care.

Portage la Prairie, Selkirk, Winkler & Rural Manitoba

Farm families, small-business owners, and healthcare workers in towns where everyone knows your truck. Working with an out-of-province therapist means privacy comes built in.

We also work with clients in Winnipeg, Brandon, Steinbach, Thompson, Portage la Prairie, Winkler, Selkirk and the surrounding communities.

Insurance and coverage in Manitoba.

Manitoba Blue Cross is widely held among Manitoba employers and recognises Registered Psychotherapists on most plans. Canada Life is heavily represented locally given its Winnipeg HQ and processes our receipts on standard mental health coverage. Manulife and Sun Life are also common. If your benefits booklet only references psychologists, look for "mental health professional" or "counsellor", sometimes RP coverage is listed under a different field. Please contact your insurance provider for confirmation.
